Program Opportunites
Show Team

Show Team began in 2011 as an opportunity to compete off property without owning a horse.  Riders are committed for the season (March to October) and are assigned a horse. Show Team compete at 5 to 6 shows per season.  Riders gain experience handling horses away from home as well as all aspects of caring for a competition horse.  Show Team practices once a week beyond their regularly scheduled lessons  and practices cover skills needed for competing.
  Student Horse Shows

Each Spring and Fall we hold a horse show that only students registered with the lesson program may enter. We offer a variety of classes including dressage, jumping, equitation and trail as well as fun classes like the costume class. Although we teach our students to compete at the standards of an open show no one is required to compete and everyone gets a ribbon. Students help with the running of the show as well as compete in it.  This gives our students the opportunity to try competing in a more comfortable environment.

  Summer Horsemanship Program

Monday thru Friday 9 am to 3 pm

For our students who are able to ride in a group lesson we offer our summer horsemanship program.  Students are assigned a horse to care for during the week as if it were their own.  There are daily mounted lessons covering different areas and disciplines of riding.  Un mounted lessons and games fill the rest of the days.  This program gives our riders the opportunity to go beyond what can be taught in a weekly lesson and gain valuable knowledge and experience while having fun.
